Hyderabad Tourist places: Hyderabad is the fourth most populous metropolitan city of India. It is the capital and largest city of the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad is also known as the city of pearls because historically it was the trade center of pearls and diamonds. The city has gained more popularity because of film industries, Hyderabad is headquartered in Telugu Film Industry and Ramoji Film City.

There are lots of attractions in the city such as Historical monuments, lakes, parks, museums, and many amusement points. I made little effort to present some most popular attractions and tourist places in Hyderabad.

Birla Mandir – Birla Temple of Hyderabad is the very famous spiritual site of the city. It was built by the Birla Foundation which covered about 13 acres plot. Temple has separate for God Venkateswara, Shiva, Shakti, Ganesh, Brahma, Hanuman, Goddess Saraswati, Lakshmi, and famous saint Saibaba.

Lumbini Park – If you are looking for an open-air atmosphere in the city, I would say to go to Lumbini Park. It is an urban park that covers 7.5 acres of land and is very near to Husain Sagar. Park was created in 1994 and maintained by Buddha Purnima Project Authority.

Salarjung Museum – Salar Jung Museum is one very famous museum in the city. It is not the only largest museum in the city but also is one among three national museums of India. The museum is located at Nayapul Hyderabad established in 1951. There are 38 galleries and about one million objects on exhibition. The museum is open to visitors every day from 10 am to 5 pm except Friday.

Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park – This national park is located in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. It is the largest part of the city which is spread over 400 acres. Park also has a famous complex named Chirag Palace built on 24 acres of land.

Jalavihar – Jalavihar is an amusement and Water Park spread in the area about 12 acres. It has the largest wave pool in the country and the capacity of 1000 people’s accommodation at a time.

Charminar – It is a monument mosque built in 1591 in Islamic architecture located at the east bank of Musi River in Hyderabad city. Minar is called Tower and it is about 160 feet high from the surface.

Golconda Fort – It is a famous historical tourist place located at Makki Darwaja Road, Hyderabad. You can visit the place every day from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm.

Hussain Sagar – it would really be an amusing and peaceful point for you. Hussain Sagar is an artificial lake built by Hazrat Hussain Shah Wali. The total covered area by the lake is about 5.7 square Km. It has many other attractions.

Osman Sagar – Osman Sagar is an artificial Lake of Hyderabad City. It is a popular tourist destination full of attractions such as parks, amusement points, and resorts. Osman Sagar is also known as Gandipet.

Mecca Masjid – It is a Muslim shrine and the oldest mosque of Hyderabad. It was built in 1694 in Islamic style. Mecca Masjid is located at Laad Bazaar Rd, Khilwat, Charminar, Hyderabad.

Chowmahalla Palace – It is a royal palace of Nizams of Hyderabad State, all ceremonial functions of Nizams were held in the same palace.

Qutub Shahi Tombs – Qutub Shahi Tombs are tombs of Shahi Rulers and it is very near to Golkonda Fort of Hyderabad City.

Durgam Cheruvu – It is a freshwater lake spread over 83 acres area near Hyderabad City.

Chilkur Balaji Temple – Chilkur Balaji or Visa Balaji is an ancient temple of Hyderabad located at the bank of Osman Lake.

Ramoji Film City – Ramoji is the largest integrated film city in the world spread on 1666 acres of land. This film city was founded in 1996 in Hayanthnagar, Hyderabad. Lots of films and TV serials in various languages are produced here.

NTR Gardens – NTR Garden is a beautiful urban park located at Hussain Sagar of Hyderabad. This garden was created in 2001 on 55 acres plot. The site is maintained and operated by Buddha Purnima Project Authority.

Birla Science Museum – If you like to visit museums in Hyderabad Birla Science Museum is the best destination. It is another museum of the city as Salarjung Musem. The museum is located very near Birla Temple, Adarsh Nagar Hyderabad and you will enjoy two attractions at the same time.

Snow World – Snow World is located at Lower Tank Bund Rd., Hyderabad. Definitely, you will love the place because it is an amusement park, go to enjoy in the city of pearl. There is no week off in the park and you can visit every day from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
